Truly rewarding to work for a hospital where no child is left behind
Vacation max caps out then you have to use it or lose it, you have to track you own to make sure you don’t lose it. HR does not have responsibility to notify you when you are reaching the max. I like over 2k one year. For sick leave if you are health and not sick, you lose it. I lost over 25k in sick leave when I left
Pretty bad benefits for being in healthcare. Very high premiums if enrolling dependents and only HMO and high HDHP plans. Have to use PTO for holidays.
Overall the Health Benefits are OK
Excellent 403b match after 10 years of employment.
The worst part of the benefits package is the lack of PTO. Also, you are only allowed to call out 6 times a year for sick leave. What is the point of having sick leave if you can only use it 6 times?
Health Insurance is a little expensive. I actually have to use the covered california benefit
We have to use our PTO for Federal Holidays
The health insurance gets worse every year. The retirement is sub par. No incentives (in the OR) for working OT or extra shifts/call.
The medical benefits are not good. They only offer hmo or a high deductible poo. You would expect better from a hospital
