15 day PTO policy beginning your first year, 401K options, sick days, free snacks, free lunch once a month, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance.
Healthy snacks/beverages replenished throughout the day!
There was no benefits package for this job but no one would have expected one for a freelance position though
The benefits package is acceptable.
Comprehensive Medical/ Dental/ Vision/ 401K. Free Parking and stipends if you take metro.
Health insurance is only okay coverage through BCBS. There is an option for health savings and dental. There is a 401K with employer matching. Parking is covered and there is a stipend for Metro commuters. There is plans to offer a gym membership when the office relocates this summer. There are work from home options depending on department/positions.
It's pretty lackluster all over. Matching on 401k is low for a startup. No equity or incentive to be there for the long haul. Health is basically the bare minimum and $$.
They had a very complete benefits package at RainKing, however, as an intern i was not allowed to take advantage of these perks. I wish I would have stayed and worked full time for them as it was a great environment to be a part of.
They push off salary reviews and lie.
Best part: Even though we were on a high-deductible plan, they put money into our HSAs to cover the entire deductible. Worst part: Two weeks PTO, no sick days. If you got the flu, say goodbye to your summer vacation. Increased to three weeks after you'd been there for 75 years or something. Also, 401(k) match was maxed out at 1.5 percent of your salary -- they matched half of whatever you contributed, up to 3 percent. After that, nadda.
