Financially practical benefits package for any tax class (indiv, married, HoH, etc.). Nothing is forced upon you but if you're going to be working for a financial services firm that offers really good retirement/financial services to its own employees, take it. Or at least compare it. Personally, I'd like to have the option of taking more up front pay and less back-end benefits, but again, that's just me. What I have works for me and my family, and I work for it every day for a company that does the same.
Excellent health, vision, and dental insurance. 401K match isn't great. They do offer some local discount programs for the zoo and occasionally offer free or discounted sports tickets.
Employee Stock Option plan is great. 401(k) is good but takes a while for the match to vest.
Company still offers vacation and sick days. Vacation days: 2 weeks for first 3 years; 3 weeks after 3 years; 4 weeks after 10 years; 5 weeks after 20 years. Sick days: up to 6 days a year. 401K match is surprisingly poor for a financial services company - company contributes only $1250 max. However, company does contribute to a retirement plan that includes profit sharing and company stock, usually between 4% and 7% of salary annually depending on company profits. On the one hand, this means that if you aren't contributing much to your 401K, you will still have money set aside in a retirement account. But on the other hand, it means that if you are dedicated to funding your 401K, you won't have much company assistance in doing so. Additional perk - you can purchase company stock at a discount quarterly. Not a large budget for professional development.

Only 2 weeks vacation until 3 years of employment then you are upped to 3 40 hours of sick time including 2 personal days BC/BS health insurance 401k matching incentives are very low (match 2,000$ if 2,000$ has been contributed within one calendar year
