I had to convince the branch manager that 15 days combined vacation/sick time is a typical level of PTO compensation for a full-time professional support position. I haven't even broached the topic of increased PTO with increasing years of service.

2 of the 5 sick days per yr can be used as personal days. Separate sick and vacation pools

StarStarStarStarStar Current Registered Client Service Associate in Cincinnati, Ohio

I had 3 weeks of vacation at my previous firm but that was not honored when I switched over and I had to start over at 2 weeks. You have to work 3 years before you can have 3 weeks vacation time. Also, there is no opportunity to buy or negotiate more vacation time.

Time off is great, vacation and sick time are separate pools

  • Apr 22, 2016
