Raytheon uses a HSA health plan with several options from low to high, and several depent acceptance rules.

The health insurance is pretty good if you don't mind HSA plans. A sum of money is placed on your HSA account at start of year and you have the option of adding to that (up to federal limit).

United Health Care high deductible plan. The plan is a la carte meaning "choice" and you can go directly to specialists. You pay for everything out of pocket up to the deductible which you can choose $3-4000. Then coinsurance 10-20% until the out of pocket max near $7,000 for a family. The company contributes to an HSA on your behalf and you can contribute up to federal limits using pre-tax money. The money is never taxed if used for medical expenses. I actually like the plan ok, the premiums are not too bad, but they doubled last year, and I expect them to keep rising.
