You can't take any time off without being fired
They will take PTO away from you when you request to leave early for things like picking up children or tending to a sick family member, thus rendering it not "paid" time off. If you leave the company they will deduct money you have already earned for the amount of PTO you ha for that year. Vacation can be promised if promoted and then may not come through on their guarantee
Your first year you get 10 days that is not bad.
management is reasonable about allowing sales reps time off
If you are out of vacation days and you get sick, you have no recourse. If they let you take the time-off for being sick you have to make it up plus one half. That sounds ok, but if you are very sick; you often are not better in time to do this.
Paid time off is pretty standard.
