Excellent healthcare, PTO, and retirement benefits!
Great benefits. PTO is very generous.
The health insurance is outstanding for this area.
The worst part is the co-pay is an out-of-pocket is insane once that has been accomplished medications at the pharmacy and co-pays at the doctor and such will be free
$4.00 overnight shift differential. Variety of health plans and HSA
Regions Hospital is very strict about using PTO. They have not allowed more than 4 or 5 days per year when you are employed as .8 (or 8 shift out of a possible 16 shifts every 2 weeks.) If you exceed 5 days per year, you will be given a 'warning' by your Nurse Manager. And if you substantially exceed 5 days per year you will risk further warnings and will most likely be terminated. This factors in heavily if you come down with influenza, as you will be forced to take 3 to 5 days off. I've experienced (in 2013) the need to bring a doctor's note. And even then, it was disputed. Eventually, I was given credit for my days missed, but I didn't like to be run through the grinder after being so sick with influenza. Dental and Medical Plans are very comprehensive and will cover your children at a very reasonable monthly rate.
For an individual there is a health insurance policy with no premium to the employee and also comes with a $1,000 HSA account to which the employee can also contribute.
