StarStarStarStarStar Current Occupational Therapist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Prorated for hours worked but at lower rate than full time and still difficulty to get

You do acrue a good amount of pto per pay period, it was hard getting holidays off and trying to find someone covering your shift.

The only reason that I accumulate a fairly good amount of vacation time is that I was an employee of a facility taken over by RehabCare. I accumulate vacation at a rate that a RehabCare employee with the same years of employment accumulates PTO. That number of hours is SIGNIFICANTLY less than the # of hours per pay period that I accumulated from my previous employer.

The worst thing about vacation and paid time off is they have had to cut back on the number of earned PTO hours per pay period over the years due to the economy.

  • May 07, 2018
StarStarStarStarStar Former Employee in Naples, Florida

Work schedule is slower during the summer. PTO used to cover slower days.

  • Apr 15, 2018
StarStarStarStarStar Former PT in Gary, Indiana

They only allow 3 weeks of vacation

  • Jul 24, 2017
StarStarStarStarStar Current COTA/L in Greenwood, South Carolina

Low accrual rate and forced holiday time off within pay period (not necessarily on the holiday)

  • May 31, 2017
StarStarStarStarStar Former Physical Therapist in Phila, Pennsylvania

You accrue PTO at a ridiculously slow rate then are told that you must contact a bunch of therapists that have no interest in continuing to provide per diem services (because this company is awful).
