Nothing, part time work, so n/a
We have paid holidays every year, it is a good time for us to relax and have fun.
As graduate students, we don't really have tracked paid holiday days. Our "vacations" are informally arranged with our thesis advisors. In general, Professors are quite lenient with scheduling as long as the student is doing his/her job and reaching the requisite research milestones in a timely manner. Holidays are flexible.
If you are able to work on national holidays you are well compensated. You receive your normal days pay and then another full day and a half pay on top of that. So double time and a half for working new years eve for instance. Quite nice.
