“good benefits and great vacation time”
Best thing is 401k match
Company has good benefit packages
It's okay, could be better.
401k match is decent, HDHP health insurance is low/no premiums, which is great, but definitely means you should save up your HSA in case you need to use healthcare benefits. Time off was greatly improved in the past few years - especially for new associates since paid time off starts right away instead of the next calendar year after starting like it used to be. Overall, pretty solid benefits. Lots of activities and clubs to join too, and the on-site fitness facility is excellent.

I’m an ex-Google senior program manager…laid off twice this year. I just got an offer. I love everything about the job but the pay is 👎🏻. Benefits are comparable to Google’s. Should I suck it up and accept? If you’re in a similar situation I’d love to hear about your experience. Thanks fishes!

Hello! I have a tiny professional dilemma I was hoping to get some opinions. I got two offers on the table for a Business Intelligence Developer for both Dell and Whole Foods Market. Dell is offering 121k, BI position, 5 weeks-ish PTO, 6% 401K match and has a 25-30 min car commute. Whole Foods is offering 103k, Senior BI position, 3 weeks PTO, 4% 401K match and has a 20 min walking commute (or 5 min by car) . Both job hybrid schedule (3 days in, 2 remote). Which one would you take?

Good starter job, friendly staff.
401k matching, Company deposit to HSA, Health, Dental, vision
Pricing is great if you qualify for the discount. It’s a high deductible health plan so it’s really beneficial for younger employees and those in good health. Discounts on procedures are minimal so the more you use it the more money out of pocket you will experience. Mental health coverage needs to be improved. An HSA is offered so be sure to contribute to it immediately.
Healthcare package covers very little and is very expensive.
Health insurance barely covers anything
Super low cost, on-site clinic
