Maternity leave is 5 weeks paid at 80% (you have to use your PTO for the first week). If you don't have enough PTO to cover a full week then it's unpaid. You can take 12 weeks with FMLA but the remaining 6 weeks are unpaid. I feel like this is almost bare minimum. I worked in banking and they give 12-16 weeks 100% pay.

6 weeks paid maternity buy of course if you’ve worked there 1 year or more you can take 12 weeks with FMLA but only 6 will be paid. I used this but was told I wasn’t allowed to start it until after I gave birth. So you won’t be able to take off in advance.

If you are pregnant as a mother, you can take a maternity leave.

6 weeks partially-paid maternity leave through FMLA, plus 6 weeks unpaid. I felt that this was not very progressive for an institution of higher education.
