Good benefits for what you pay
There is a marketplace with many different plans and companies to choose from.
many choices lack of investment in employee HSAs.
Good choice of vendors and plans at a very reasonable cost.
I think it's just average. You can choose from bronze, silver or gold plans from all the major carriers.
The first year it was good. The second year employees cost was very high, it took a big portion of paycheck causing bring out pay to be much to low.
Coverage can be a bit high, but is is ok
The plans are pretty flexible. Your premium is deducted automatically from your salary and its pretaxed. that's super helpful. There is a lot to chose from.
there are not many options to choose from.
The best thing is they give you just about every health provider to choose from and it's up to you to decide. Most employers give you one or the other. They give you all the carriers and you make your own choice. They help you with a significant portion of the premium too. The bad news is, you will still have to pay a pretty good size deductible of around 2,000 a person for any Bronze plan you choose. But no matter what company you work for, we are all in that boat together :)
