Awesome benefits and compensation structure
It is a lot for the family plans, more than i should have to pay for not the best service
Their time off policies and their 401K match
Benefits are improving with the increase in tuition reimbursement and more options for insurance.
Ricoh had health insurance, vacation and sick time earned after the first 90 days (of being a full time worker, on top of all the time spent as a temporary worker). No subsidized gym memberships, no commuter benefits, they needed to cut the budget so they stopped their 401k matching program. Retirement and maternity leave didn't kick in for a year or more. HR was only available through an 800 number, so support was essentially nonexistent.
You are offered a 401k but not to be matched 100%. The site determines the raise so if the negotiation by site manager is awful don't expect much.
Most of the benefits are unaffordable, the 401K is a joke-the company matches and then stops matching contributions whenever they see fit.
health benefits are great. they have people come on site to provide health check that provides you with a $200 credit on your insurance.
Ricoh has a great benefits package. They provide health insurance, vision, dental, and 401K.
Ricoh does have a good 401K program and the health benefits are not bad either. As with all companies, the health costs are rising.
