Paid Vacations, Sick time and great healthcare
Free Health insurance. Pension but it’s employee contributed. Good vacation and sick time accruals.
Very competitive geographically, not necessarily attractive.
Very expensive health plans for family coverage. It was cheaper for me to find healthcare privately.
It is very expensive if you have to pay for a family plan. At least $700 a month out of pocket for Kaiser and delta PPO dentist
I did not get any benefits from them because I was not working full time there. If the benefits are good, it is still Not worth working there.
They offer life insurance that is equal to 1 year of your salary capped at 50k. They offer medical, vision, and dental for all full time employees
Benefits are great. Includes health, vision, dental, and 401K.
The vacation, sick time and paid time off accrued at a decent rate after my 4th year there. Prior to that it was fairly standard. It was difficult to actually use it though, as getting approved for time off was a laborious process. The retirement package is fairly standard; however, you are offered the use of outside companies to add to that with your own pay giving you more opportunities if you're willing to pay in with your own money. The health insurance benefits for a single person weren't bad options with flex pay again; however, if you're paying for a family it's incredibly expensive. Since the pay isn't competitive at all you won't be seeing much of your paycheck dependent upon your salary.
Professional are unionized. Raises are slow and the union groups professionals with lower educated employees. Union dues are used to bribe politicians.
