    If you're a contractor there isn't any. I thought this was total BS too, as my husband and I were thinking about getting pregnant but we decided to wait until after I was full time or found another job.

    I think the nominal time off for paternity leave is 5 weeks. Seems pretty generous to me.

    Four weeks paid pre-delivery and 12 weeks paid post delivery for women. Just a week for men, which is why I didn't give it 4 starts - feel like it should be 30 days bonding leave for men.
