Great benefits due to being a hospital. 401k, paid time off, sick time are fair compared to other health care facilities. Provides financial counseling through their 401k program.
Health insurance is expensive. Nice amount of vacation time. Nice compensation for holidays. Have a paid maternity leave plan at partial pay.
Health insurance is very expensive for traditional BC/BS. This drives employees to the high deductible plan. Many of us just don't go to the doctor anymore for things like high blood pressure or chronic illnesses because we can't afford the follow up visits. We don't go for acute illnesses either and just go to work at the bedside sick. There are no paid conference days, they don't even pay for your registration at the conferences they offer to educate their own staff. They aren't going to work with you if you are a student or a parent with your scheduling needs. They need you first to belong to them. Pay is not keeping up with state averages and is slipping locally.
Health insurance and shift differentials are the worst things about the benefits
The worst thing about the benefits was the inability to see an outside provider.
For it being a health system I would think that there would be a better health insurance package.
great health benefits as long as you use RGH facilities. free gym for employees. 401k and pension benefits
