Rockefeller University provides a robust, comprehensive benefits plan for all of our full-time and part-time employees. We strive to support our employees in their work and their life, offering great benefits, perks, and valuable resources for each employee and their family.
good insurance, 401K, vacation time, on campus dining, campus store, work-seminars, management training, on campus child care preschool facility,
Good retirement plan overall other than that nothing great
Rockefeller offers an excellent, fully-comprehensive benefits package that goes above and beyond. From the health, dental and vision costs to their contributions to your 401K plan everything was top notch. They also offered a nice plan of paid vacation days commensurate with experience. It was one of the best parts of working there for so long and how they retain so many employees.
Unlimited Sick Days and many vacation days and an entire paid week off during Christmas and New Years which you get plus normal vacation and personal days.
I would say that the best thing is the location (Upper East Side) and the housing that is provided by the Rockefeller University.
Best deal for students. Housing is a steal, solid health insurance. Provides professional career services and rotary public available on campus for little or no fee. Plenty of little perks here and there for rental cars, movie tickets, etc.
Medical benefits are cool Vacation days should be doubled and if you don't use them you should be reimbursed for them or they should be rolled over every year
Amazing benefits you are unlikely to find elsewhere in NY!: Incredible NYC top hospitals health plan, 4 weeks vacation to start (plus extra week after 5 years), unlimited sick days (though never took them), regular holidays off plus winter holiday break, 403b (6% university contribution after 2 years requiring no employee contribution), pre-tax transportation, health savings. (KEEP IN MIND IT'S THE NON-PROFIT WORLD--THE PAY IS LOW AND RAISES/BONUSES NON-EXISTENT).
Employer contribution to the retirement plan regardless of whether you contribute yourself or not.
Great vacation, health benefits, 401 K.
