    In the U.S. you start at 2 weeks unless you can negotiate the third. Even if you have vacation you will probably working all day anyway given the culture is that you are expected to check email all day and respond.

    I used to work for a European competitor that was more generous with vacation time, so perhaps it's to be expected that I feel Rockwell could have a better vacation plan. I feel like waiting 15 years to get 4 weeks is high, although that is probably completely standard here in the United States.
