Prior to calendar year 2015, the benefits package was slightly above average for the industry. However, now Rolls-Royce is struggling with cash flow and quality issues that have caused the organization to make changes that have only short term benefits, such as taking away over one and a half weeks of paid time off each year and refusing to let people work off site. This may help cash flow in the short term, but long term they are driving away their most valuable resource- good people.
