The best benefit is the stock purchase program. It allows employees to have ownership of the company while getting a discount on the share price. I am also pleased Rush just improved its vacation policy. Other items to note are free vision insurance and a small employer-paid life insurance policy. The worst benefits are short term disability and lack of parental leave. We have to pay for short term disability and it only pays out $400/week. No parental leave is offered whatsoever. With more and more companies adding it, not only for women, but also for men, I hope to see Rush follow suite.
Its good benefits program for families, however it was a bit costly.
No insurance offered to contract personnel, after Rush purchases your contract and you start full time, you will then be offered benefits.

Great benefits, including health, vision, dental, and free $15,000 life insurance. Vision is free, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO health insurance is just $144/month, dental is $17/month for $1500/yr total benefits. Rush matches 20% of what you contribute to your 401k. They also have an Employee Stock Purchase Plan where you can buy shares at a 25% discount. All these charges are deducted from your paycheck. Super satisfied with the benefits I receive.
10'years to obtain a 3rd week vacation. Let that sink in and compare to other companies. Ridiculous. Make it 5 years at least. How many people stick around for 10 years??? Very few.
Best benefit was their ESP. Highly competitive and potentially lucrative. Worst was the 401k - No dollar for dollar matching, they match a percent of your percentage. As a single person, I found the health care benefits to be adequate. Vision insurance was free.
