There are no restaurants in the city with such good benefits. You are able to start a HSA account and have full medical, dental and vision coverage at a very affordable price. Management is dedicated to your understanding of benefits you can receive, and the best option for you.
As far as serving in a restaurant, benefits are usually non existent. Here at this Ruths Chris franchise they offer a 401k program in which they match up to 6%, health and life insurance, and paid vacation days. There are also tier incentives for staying with the company for various amounts of time. Also there is a 50% employee discount when dining in off shift.
Working only nights can be a problem. You have to work every single holiday, even Christmas. They don't close for even one day a year.
They match half of what you put into your 401k each paycheck.
they have an employee meal before every shift that is most likely gone before you'd start your shift. it consist of whatever is going to expire soon, so some days it could be chicken fingers, other times (most) its rice and veggies. also you can get 1/2 off if you come in for dinner, this reservation has to be set up in advance and approved by a manager.
Very good benefits for someone that works part time hours in the restaurant industry. I really like that they offer these benefits for me.
Great company to work for and a positive environment. Tips help pay the bills.
401k with employer matching a small %, major medical, dental, vision, and 10% discount on Pet Insurance. Affordable for the restaurant industry with better than average premiums and deductibles.
You aren’t told if your close to getting dropped from insurance right away.
They offer 401K and Health Insurance options, which I have not taken advantage of, but I know that the coverage for the plans offered is very limited, and I would advise anyone considering signing up for their benefits to closely review the contract and all the specific of coverage.
