StarStarStarStarStar Former Shift Supervisor in Columbus, Indiana

I started out with 2 weeks of vacation time the first year, and obtained 1 week of vacation per 5 years of service. The company also gives their employees 36 hours of floating holiday pay per year that was used as vacation. Everyone with the company whether calling in sick,or using vacation was paid for their time off. As an employee, I also had 40 hours of personal business time that I could use for appointments for things that couldn't be scheduled outside of work. This was also paid time off. By the time that I had been there 15 years, I had a total of 7 weeks of time that I could take off per year without effecting my attendance.

StarStarStarStarStar Current Product Manager in Pittsfield, Massachusetts

Typical amount, but no carry over or cash-in. Given all the current demands and pressure to not take vacation, they should offer to pay out unused vacation or roll it over for future use.

Could offer more time off consistent across the company in different regions.
