The health care plan was expensive and didn't cover much

OKAY but not great. Not a lot of PTO, and they'd often require us to take it for a week at a time over Christmas even though we had work to do in the office. Health insurance is costly with higher deductible. Very low 401k match.

Reasonable amount of comp time given and most federal holidays are given as well, but there is no sick leave (you have to spend comp time for that), and a single amount of comp time is given to everyone. This amount is non negotiable, and increases at very few points in the time you are with the company. Insurance is okay, but only high deductible plans are offered. 401k match is lower than other companies in the area.

the deductible is very very high and only 80% coverage after you meet it.

Expensive health insurance - family plan was over $600 per month with a $2600 deductible. Felt like not having insurance at all

For short-term disability, employee must be hospitalized for 24 hours for the disability to kick in. Otherwise, the employee must take comp time off or unpaid time off for a designated amount of time. Employer HSA contributions for numerous reasons. Best contribution was the one for pregnancy "check-ins".
