SAS Institute grants eleven paid holidays; paid vacation starting with three weeks per year to start for full-time employees; flexible work schedules (subject to manager?s approval); jury duty, military and bereavement leaves; and paid sick days.
When i do take time off, SAS is very comfortable with approving it
15 PTO days plus a week off at Christmas
Get 3 weeks but have to wait till the ten year mark to get an extra week
SAS gives two weeks of vacation a year, plus floating holidays to be used whenever. They also shutdown for a week during the holidays to let everyone spend time with their family, along with the standard set of holidays off during the year. Vacation time will vary per team, but I've never had a problem taking time off, and have even been encouraged to take days here or there if I haven't for a while.
The 10 year gap for the next vacation tier is too long.
Standard two weeks vacation and only five paid holidays. Their are closed last week of the year but you end up working.
15 days plus 1 day floating holiday
Pretty generous - I have four full weeks, plus Christmas week (SAS shuts down between Christmas and New Years). One floating holiday, and vacation carryover of up to 10 days
plenty of vacation days that keep increasing!!!
Three weeks plus the week of Winter/Christmas! Unlimited Sick Time. And an additional week after 10years employment. No other employer offers this much time off to new employees.
