The package is actually OK, but two people in HR gave me different answers to the same question, and then it was my responsibility to scramble and hustle to get my benefits in place on time. Neither took responsibility for one of them making an error.
Health benefits were comparable to other companies (high deductible plan, not the cheapest either) and 401k was a pretty minimal match (first 2% at 1/2%, so 1% total). Disability was extra. They don't even offer sick time, just 2 weeks vacation (which is impossible to take).
Benefits are expensive, especially when your salary works out to half what's expected because hours are long.
The cost of the healthcare was very high considering that it was all a high deductible plan with moderate options
