All time off is accrued and it's not much.

    Standard - increases over time

StarStarStarStarStar Former Employee in Broomfield, Colorado

All national holidays, sick time and vacation time come from one PTO bucket, which is already low.

It it hard to get your requests for vacation approved. The scheduler is not helpful when it comes to this issue and denies a lot of requests.

Extremely limited/poor PTO at SCL. You get 3 or so weeks per year....but they remove 8 hours for every holiday. Also if you are a salaried employee you MUST work the holiday, you can't "bank" that 8 hours for another day you would prefer off. No sick leave - all PTO is lumped together.

StarStarStarStarStar Current Telementry RN in Denver, Colorado

It is easy to accrue paid time off, difficult to use it for illness.

StarStarStarStarStar Former HR representative in Broomfield, Colorado

This is one of the cons. You accrue PTO every pay period, but you have to use PTO for not only vacation, but also holiday and sick leave. However, you still accrue enough to cover it all.

Only PTO, no sick or holiday pay. This is awful.
