Single PTO bank for sick days, required holidays, and personal time off. Have to use PTO for Federal holidays as well as your own sick days and vacation days. Low maximum accruals and getting lower every year.

TERRIBLE!!!!!! You get about 22 days per year BUT that is your vacation and sick time. To top it off, you DO NOT get paid holidays - they MAKE you take 5 holidays per year and those come out of your Paid Time Off (PTO). So it's very hard to ever accrue much PTO. They will not let you take holidays without pay. You can only go in the negative 2 days. This makes it very hard to have any work/life balance.

SCLHS may offer 22 days of PTO to it's first year employees, but it also offers 0 holidays. The Fed's grant 11. So those 22 days of PTO really are 11. That doesn't get better until you've worked for SCLHS for 5 years.
