The retirement match is outstanding. The vacation and sick leave policies are generous. Healthcare benefits also top notch.

There are only two benefits: the transportation subsidy and the free gym.

It is an unpaid internship and you're required to work full time during the summer. It can be challenging for those that have a long commute.

As an intern employees qualify for full coverage dental and vision. These benefits are top notch. Unfortunately contractors and interns do not qualify for free health insurance, but it can still be purchased and deducted from your salary.

Great benefits - good federal government health insurance, generous retirement benefit packages, flexible work schedules.

While the full time employees and staff received benefits, the summer legal interns were not provided any sort of benefit or compensation package. The SEC can get away with this sort of structure because these internships are highly sought after, but of course, it would be nice to have.

Truly spectacular health, dental, life insurance, retirement savings and pension plan, workout facilities available, onsite healthcare if necessary.

Best: telework opportunities, defined retirement plan, TSP matching above GS-level, health insurance subsidy. Worst: very limited performance bonus, lack of training opportunities outside the office.

Great benefits: 4-8 hours PTO per paycheck, telework, up to 5% match in 401K
