I do not know much about the benefits package at SI Group because I didn't not accept any of the benefits because I was only an intern.
The benefits package was pretty good. No complaints.
Only 2 weeks vacation until you've been with the company 5 years, but sick and personal days are not counted against your vacation time.

There are a lot of great benefits that you receive from day 1.
Unless the management chooses to bring you on as an actual SI Group employee, there are no benefits at all. Contract technicians receive no company perks ever.
Two health plans to pick from, one being an HSA the company adds money into. The company also matches a few percent into your 401k. You get half-credit vacation for previous employment. New glasses and eye exams very two years is not optimal for many. Older employers have a pension plan. New one have an additional 401k the company pays into.
