At the time, the benefits package was complete but not necessarily above other competitive employers in the area.

Employee Stock Purchase Plan is great, Insurance and 401K are competitive. PTO is accrued over time.

Healthcare can get expensive for family benefits, work from home policy unclear

The is really nothing to write home about here. Pretty standard run stuff. Employee stock purchace plan is great though, given the fact the the company's stock had been climbing steadily for a while.

Expensive insurance package for what your receive. If you have a family take that into account when you are negotiating your salary.

Good: PTO plans and Holidays, Employee stock purchase plan, SPS sponsored sports teams, Matching gift/volunteer 501c3 donations. Could be better: Healthcare plans for families, Maternity/Paternity leave

Having a Metropass offered is great.

Compared to other companies of comparable size, SPS does not offer a highly competitive benefits package. There is much room to be improved.

    SPS Commerce Response

We benchmark our benefits against other mid-sized companies every year and we are more than competitive across all of our plans. There may well be some companies that offer more or less expensive benefits, but there are many that don't offer as comprehensive a package or with more expensive healthcare or less of a 401k match. We have improved our 401k match and parental leave policies based on bechmarking the market and employee feedback and continue to improve offerings as we are able to do so.
