I'm not sure about most benefits because I was part time but I do remember my full-time coworkers telling me that the benefits were amazing.
Minimum two class requirement for Adjuncts to receive health care, and the healthcare package is very basic
Best: Cheap cost of living. Worst: It is cheap for a reason, not a good one. Did I mention that it is cold and rusty steel buildings are everywhere. Sometimes I see shadows moving in them.
Health care was alright, could have been better. No dental insurance, but "coverage" I believe it was called. Two cleanings a year, and a cavity or two. Better not need any other work, or it's out of pocket. Vision was minimal. No 401k.
401K included but not for contract employers
The best thing would be the tuition waiver and a decent salary. Also the Student Employee Health Insurance Plan was pretty good.
Well-rounded benefits package with clear explanation of options.
Best: Great health care packages, flexible hours, New York State Benefits, 401K, dental, organized HR department Worst: Bureaucracy, NY state taxes
They offered health insurance which include both dental and vision.
I don't get any benefits because I don't work full-time rather I work as part time Student Assistant at the office of Dean of School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
