Would like to see lower insurance premiums paid by employees and more coverage for vision and dental plans.
The fact that Sac County offers benefits to all of their employees but uses a loophole to deny some of its most important, and cost effective, employees, any benefits, is astounding. No matter that we are often untrained, uneducated, and sometimes family members, we do a ton of work, and they do not have to pay for outsourced hospice. The fact that they state that the care recipient is also the employer (though the recipient usually receives government aid), allows a loophole for them to exploit.
