You do get vacationand sick time fairly quickly
BEST: health insurance is GREAT!! WORST: trying to keep hours. always , if you don't make the hours you lose insurance for that month. would be nice to be able to pay for insurance for that week to keep it
Excellent package if you were hired before 2002
You get great medical benefits as well as vacation, paid holidays and the ability to choose if you want to work on Christmas or not. They have a 401k which they contribute to plus a pension. Of course it is all thanks to our Union contract that we receive such great benefits.
When you're part time it takes a year to be eligible for insurance. The government requires you have it. Then it cost a lot to have the privilege.
