It would be nice, to have paid vacation time; and paid time off; because I am a single mom, of special needs child.
After a certain time you start earning vaction and sick time
Occasionally could get some days off.
Accumulates after 1 year of work after 5 years you get 3 weeks paid vacation but you are almost never approved to take more then 1 week off at a time.
One week of vacation a year. Not the great, but it is better than nothing. I am unsure if sick pay is offered, but I believe it is not.
The company doesn't really like to honor you PTO unless you really ask them multiple times. PTO is earned by the number of hours you have worked, so the longer you've been working, the more PTO you will have.
You are lucky if you see your money
AHAHAHA it doesnt matter how early you ask for said days off management will not honor it or lie about approving it. Get EVERYTHING IN WRITING , DO NOT TRUST THE BINDERS FOR REQUESTS. MANAGEMENT PULLS THE PAPERS OUT SO YOU HAVE NO RECORDS. Management does not give a damn about your well-being .
This was a definite perk at Safeway, after working for almost a year at full time, I earned two weeks vacation pay. I left before I could use them however I received a check in the mail to compensate for my hours and I was very impressed and pleasantly surprised
Vacations are good and paid leave is as well. They treat you good with this benefit. They pay on time.
