    Truly unlike any other policy I've seen. Cost per pay period for 1 person is ~$50 and the company covers your deductible. Competitive dental and vision plans as well. They also offer spectacular parental benefits and disability packages.

    The onboarding options package can be hit or miss depending on the stock market. The day you join can significantly impact what your compensation is like for the next 4 years.

    Thank you for your open and honest feedback. Stock option grant prices are set on the day grants are approved which is the first of the month following hire date so we have no control over the grant price. Our equity grants are long-term incentives intended to allow Sageans to participate in the value we create over a number of years. Currently all employees are not only eligible for a new hire equity award but also an annual equity award. All equity awards include a time-based stock option grant, and a performance restricted stock unit (PSU) grant that vests in shares of Sage Restricted Stock based on achievement of strategic milestones. We strive to have a competitive program with the amount of equity granted on an on-going basis, and in the mix of different award types granted. Thanks, Pete

    The parental leave package is generous in comparison to other biotechs!!

    Time with family is incredibly important to Sage. We continue to think of new ways to improve our parental leave time and benefits. Recently we increased the total amount of leave for a primary and secondary care giver, and we setup a transition time back to work that includes several weeks of part time work to ease your transition. However, our family-centric approach doesn’t end here. We also have a number of benefits and perks that we hope you use to enjoy time with your family like museum and kayak passes, Friday summer sizzlers and family outings.     There isn’t a thing that Sage doesn’t cover. Andvtheir parentsl leave benefits are unmatched. They really are doing their best to ensure better postpartum mental health, completely from their employees to the patients they are trying to help in their clinical trials.
