    The insurance is okay. It's expensive for the deductible you get in the medium tier. The company handling the retirement funds (Voya) does a pretty good job communicating. You meet with them once a year to review everything. The ETO accrual is not very great. They've recently changed it to base it on how many years you've been there determines how much you accrue. I've been there for 5 years and only accrue 5ish hours per pay period (every 2 weeks). When your unit is slow, that disappears rapidly.

    We have decent insurance, but the healthy reward incentive has been taken away so it costs me $320 a month to insure myself alone.

    The benefits are constantly being reduced in order to cut costs. You'd think a 3300 employee hospital would have great health care benefits, but they were worse than any retail job I had in college.

    I do not have the benefits package with this company. I was offered benefits, but decided to take the 20% increase instead of benefits.

    The benefits offered are quite standard. However, the cost is among the highest I have had to pay, specifically health insurance. They offer 3 plans to choose from. The company custom built their own plan which only allows hospital affiliates or zero coverage. They do not offer medical bill discounts and the cost of medical care is the highest in the area. Overall the best choice is to forgoe benefits and get more pay to buy your own.
