Starting vacation is too little for highly educated candidates.
standard vacation and paid time off. but junior engineer starts with only 2 weeks vacation
Given more paid Holidays then most Companies
Very gracious with vacation and personal time.
You are not allowed to carry over vacation from year to year. It is a use it or lose it proposition.
As a new hire you will receive 2 weeks vacation and 1 week sick time. From there the allotted time off do increase. however, they do penalize your vacation and sick time if you are late. 1 hour of sick/ vacation per every 1 minute you are late which can dwindle your time if you are not careful.
Takes 10 years to earn 4 weeks' vacation - not competitive to other employers and capped at 5 weeks' after 20 years' service. 10 paid holidays.
They have a vacation policy based on tenure, but my experience has been that if I ask for it I usually get it.
It was just average. It seemed to take quite a while to go from 3 weeks to 4 weeks.
Vacation is a basic benefit. Salaried employees in many locations are expected to work during vacation and while off
