They changed paid time off to an accrual system with no paid sick time. You use vacation days or come in sick. No sick time for a hospital system! Other benefits aren't bad, but there's little room for advancement.
To mush money they should help pay more
It was an excellent benefits package, good coverage on medical insurance and for not too much every paycheck. Good matching on the 401k as well.
Good 403B, l liked the healthcare package, however it's terrible that you have to only use the MD's in the Healthcare System at St. Joes. As well the worst part was getting contraception coverage. The group automatically opts you out of that coverage, however you have to complete the Religious Accommodation Limited Choice Enrollment Form fax it to the healthplan to get that coverage activated, and that process takes sometime. Also when you call HR they lie to you point blank, and tell you that it's included we wouldn't have to worry about that.
great PTO accrual, poor health insurance coverage, high premiums and out of pocket costs
good retirement plan for all people
It's not the greatest, but it's decent.
Solid benefits package with top tier vision and dental. Recent changes make obtaining and maintaining reduced rates something of a nightmare.
The best thing about the benefits package is they have medical coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield of MI and even though I live in Jackson, my son and I are still getting coverage from Tier 1 facilities. The worst thing is the optical coverage is most definitely not that great.
Vacation is easy to take, good benefits. They don't match retirement anymore. Cheap insurance if you are full-time, not so cheap if part-time
