The company offers a 25% employee discount. Full time associates get a variety of insurance options including health, vision, and dental, in addition to other more exotic insurance options such as life and lawyer insurance. Full time associates get a 401k that can be classified as a Roth.
I am considered a "floater" so that is working under fewer hours than a part-time. So close to an on-call job, almost. So I do not receive any benefits packages or a 401k
Best thing is definitely the flex PTO. Worst thing is the health insurance if you don't have the most expensive option.
I was never offered health befits as a part-time position, the discount was 25% from Saks OFF 5th and 40% at Saks Fifth Ave.
The Company provided Great Benefits
best discount a company has given its associates
part time no benefits
Health insurance is the worst!
I actually don't remember discussing benefits. I just wanted a job after college so I didn't really ask. Make sure you do! The weird thing though was you have to apply for a credit card to get the employee discount. That was very scammy to me.
I cannot give too much information on how much Saks does for benefits as I was a part time college student at the time and did not receive benefits other then my employee discount.
