Employee discount is 40% of regular priced merchandise and 25% off sale items. You can get high priced designer goods for a really good price if you wait until the end of season sales. There are times that you can get an additional associate discount up to 52% off. The compensation for a management role was very low.
The vacation time is generous however unrealistic financially because of the draw pay structure. The health care is minimal and unnecessarily expensive. They don't match 401k either so ....
In addition to a good salary, the PTO program.
401k fees are too high. Not clear understanding of what is or isn't included in health insurance. Only maternity leave is covered.
The job offers medical, dental and vision insurance. As well as family insurance coverage. The only thing I hate is the benefits come out of your check each pay period instead of once a month.
Only full time employee get benefits of course and they're ok. like your typical job benefits. Absolutely nothing special about it.
Saks used to have a good benefits package, shortly after being acquired by HBC the benefits changed. Current benefit packages are more expensive and have far less coverage.
I thought the benefits package was incredibly comprehensive for what i needed during the time I was employed. I never had any issues or problems with PTO or medical.
Our new health plan is not good and cost too much
Best thing is the 401k plan matches to the dollar and the cap size for this is large.
