It is covered by the Retirerment act of 1937, which requires solvency. Plus you can supplement our retirement with pre or post tax deductions into a 457f. There is a slight County match of a half a percent. Also there are contributions to a medical trust and when you leave you convert half of you sick leave band into the medical trust. This medical trust can be used toward insurance premiums.
