It's a bit costly but the employer does pay the majority. You are pretty much restricted to healthcare within Sanford or you pay double the co-pays and increased costs on a lot of things.

  • Vacation & Paid Time Off(22 comments)

I find this to be fair, however you need to be aware that your holidays will also be taken out of your PTO.

  • 401K Plan(21 comments)

The 401k plan is very good.

The PTO is pretty good. You only get 6 paid holidays a year. Health Insurance is affordable but not the best. Also, not the worst. Tuition Assistance is a joke. They do have an Employee Assistance program that helps with life Crises. But, you have to jump through hoops to receive it.

Good benefit package - competitive wages - great employer

Paid time off accrues pretty quickly, but your paid holidays come out of it. You have to keep that in mind and plan around it. The health insurance is decent, but a bit costly and you are restricted in where you can get care (outside of Sanford doubles your copays, for example). I find both the vision and dental insurance to be a pretty good deal. The 401k is okay. I have a couple of additional optional insurances for life and critical illness which are a bit costly but as a single parent I feel that I need to have them.

Standard set of benefits, surprisingly expensive healthcare for a company that provides healthcare and healthcare plans

OK 401k contributions, terrible health insurance (high deductible)
