401k, good vacation/sick time, and ESOP
Company-paid Sam's Club membership. Company-provided meals a few times a year for holidays. All other benefits are relatively average.
They offered really good benefits and FMLA and all the other stuff like dental and health and pension
Medical, dental, vision are available, as well as disability insurance. There is no paid maternity leave, but unpaid FMLA leave is available. For a single person with no dependents, I paid about $80/month for medical, dental, and vision coverage. It was a high deductible plan. The Lena plant is represented by the Teamsters, and I believe the medical plan was in some way managed by the Teamsters. The 401k stock plan is extremely good. My stocks did very well while I was with the company. The company matches 401k contributions up to 5%. Vacation is extremely limited. You cannot take any time off for your first 90 days -- not even to call in sick. For your first year, you get 3 days of paid time off, and are allowed 8 unpaid days of sick leave. After a year of employment, you get a week of paid time off. I'm not sure how much it grows after that, as I quit before I reached 2 years of employment.
Health insurance is fantastic and reasonably price. Start with 3 weeks of PTO/year (accrues monthly) plus an additional 8 holidays. 401K match of 5% for non-union employees. ESOP match if one opts in. Education Assistance program offers $5250/year reimbursement for school expenses. The benefits will make it hard to leave eventually.
Saputo has a great benefits package. No sick days are offered, but PTO is bumped up to 120 hours to compensate. Great medical, dental and vision plans. 401K matching is appreciated, and you are fully vested on the first day. There is no pension plan, but pension offerings are hard to come by these days.
Best benefit package I have had. Hard to beat.
Health benefits are very competitive and the comalpany matches 401k up to 5%.
shared costs that the company provides.
insurance sucks They don't fill you in on how to use it.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
