When I was hired were promised a sum of money after seven years, not time off for research or project work. Then they changed it so now you need apply for sabbatical. After watching so many people put a ton of work into their proposals and then get rejected I it wasn't worth it. I decided to enjoy what free time I had and never appleid for one.

The college should provide tuition assistance for employees to grow in their current field to foster an environment of growth. Perhaps this will help retain employees and support promotion to management positions from within. Employees can take one class per quarter at SCAD, however most Staff do not come from artistic backgrounds.
