Standard professional development programs offered. However, only a very small percentage of employees actually derive benefit from implementing the programs in reality.
Jobs are being cuts. Professional development is not existent. It has to be done by the employee. Most managers are insecure and don't want you to move up.
Very limited and it is not very applicable for jobs outside of the oil and gas industry.
Have come some significant distance over past 15 years or so but had so far to make up for. Still clamoring to get to speed I hear.
Kind of in wrong direction to me a hard working worker. Smooshing with boss gets some further than they should
They offer tuition reimbursement. I never used it, so can't say how good it is. They do offer plenty of in house training though
good the senior operators were always teaching less experienced operators ,how to better themselves and as for me I became a mentor for many new employees as well
one of the best in the industry, but still not upto the oil and gas industry standards.
I started as a technician and over 5 years worked my way into an engineering job. I had plans to move up but the industry took a dive and I got laid off.
