The compensation package is pretty decent. The amount of paid time off is comparable to other major companies. Everyone has a several medical, dental, vision and prescription plans to choose from for health insurance. There is a matching 401K contributions up to 6% of your salary, plus an additional 3% paid by the company. After 3 years of employment, the employee is considered "fully vested" and all of the 401K contributions, including company contributions are yours. The bonus structure varies depending on job title / position. The company has a ranking system that sets when an employee starts to receive bonuses. One thing that is a bit unfair about the bonus system is that prior to Schlumberger acquiring Cameron, Cameron paid all employees a bonus based on individual, group, and company performance. Schlumberger only pays employees of a certain grade or title bonuses based on similar criteria. Engineers, for example get bonuses, but designers and drafters don't: It wasn't that way with Cameron. Schlumberger does have a discounted stock purchase program that allows employees the opportunity to purchase company stocks at a slightly discounted price which is pretty nice. There are also many companies that work with Schlumberger to provide discounted goods and services to employees.
