The insurance is fantastic, and the on-site health clinic and gym are very cool. The retirement program comes in the form of shares of company stock (SEL is 100% employee-owned), which is pretty generous most years. Time off is also very flexible, at least in the part of the company where I work, and there are lots of training opportunities. The infertility coverage and parental leave have also been of great benefit to me personally.
Excellent health insurance for a family. Compensation does not make up for lack of pay.
Best : The overall package Worst : Company timing flexibility
they have 401k and stock ownership after 2 years of employment. perks are like they provide friday lunch for entire employees and the lunches can be really good foods at times.
The best thing is that you are automatically enrolled in an ESOP plan, and given shares in the company portfolio. It directly impacts my retirement plans.
You get 4 weeks of vacation per year after working ten years.
SEL is very generous with their benefits package. With health, dental, and vision, I have not see many other employers who provide the level of coverage with minimal costs to their employees. The total compensation package from this 100% employee-owned company is best-in-class. Additional perks could include more vacation (everyone peaks at four weeks) and additional payed holidays.
The health plan is excellent along with the employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) which typically awards an above average percentage of your salary in shares every year.
Employee ownership allows company to invest in back into company, employees, and keep a customer focus. Examples include onsite gym and doctor's office.
Amazing healthcare, including on site clinic and gym. Actually provides a retirement option with their ESOP. No 401k matching, but the portfolio is solid. Free lunch every Friday.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
