The price went up a lot over time but the PTO and Vacation are excellent.
Automatically enrolled into a 401k program; free admission; 30% off of food and merchandise
The perks are amazing. So many discounts and free entry to multiple theme parks. It’s incredible.
Plenty of comp tickets plus access to Universal Studios, but there is no such thing as holiday pay
Comparitively to other companies, SeaWorld has great benefits.
The company likes to brag about their time off policies for FT Team Members - and they certainly are not bad. However, they aren't that much better than many other places. You receive 10 optional holidays and 2 weeks paid vacation per calendar year for the first couple of years. Optional holidays can be used at your leisure and are paid. For example, if you want Christmas Day off...that's an optional holiday. If you want to work Christmas Day (as an admin employee), you can do so and save that optional holiday for another time. When you look at other companies' time off policies - this isn't THAT much better...just a more convenient way of doing things. The health benefits and dental benefits are alright, but not that great. The best benefit to working for a SEA park is the tickets. FT employees get 4 passports and I believe 12 tickets. All of these can be used at ANY SEA part excluding Discovery Cove. Passports give your family/friends all of your benefits (30% off, free parking, free admission, etc.). You also get free admission.
Good employee discount and free park tickets. Flexible hours. Vacation and sick time increase when you stay with the company longer.
401k. free tickets. Free food. But is it al worth it? nope. But shamu is pretty cool
Health insurance, and dental are all included for full timers. As well as tuition reimbursement and 401k matching.
Great vacation and paid time off package and awesome employee discounts and perks.
