you don't get the savings off the purchase, you get points towards future purchases....
Discount is in the form of SYW (Shop Your Way) points. You buy an item and with the employee "discount" you get extra SYW points to use after your purchase.
give points back for purchases which forces you to buy more things. IF you get enough points you can get free items.
The "discount" is really an additional percentage back in points on qualifying purchases. When combined with existing point offers, the savings can really add up. In my personal experience, I've been able to get tons of merchandise for free or almost free, which to my knowledge is unheard of at other stores. One of the drawbacks is that when it comes to spending your points, outside of store brands your choices are very limited, but beggars can't be choosers
The health insurance is very expensive and does not cover a lot same with the vision and the dental. The discount you get in points to use on future purchases.
The employee discount was actually pretty decent at Sears. It saved me a lot of money.
Not much bonus for people at the bottom of the chain
you might get a 10%. So, they pay taxes if your lucky. Something you get less.
You had to use the company credit card
You don't get a discount the way you in other companies. But you do get shop your way points to use towards your future purchases
