“Although the insurance plan is great, we still have to pay a monthly out of pocket contribution towards health insurance.”

10% employer contribution to retirement, very cheap health care, excellent time off benefits, and full tuition remission.

10% contribution to retirement with no required contribution from employee; tuition waiver; medical coverage for family members at reasonable rates; tuition waiver for your kids!

The folks in the benefits office were helpful and gave good advice. They were some of the most supportive people at the University. However, it seems pretty clear that the administration prefers to hire different adjunct faculty each year, rather than carrying people over. I suspect it is because then they don't have to pay employee benefits over the summer. Benefits are for the 9-month appointment.

401k equivalent for non-profits was amazing. Great matching and high contribution even without match. Many health options, great price for employee

Great gym, and depending on your department, opportunity for work from home. There's also a community service leave benefit.
